Why?

I got tired of the free hosting services out there. Wanted some flexibility. I like to write and I wanted to keep my friends from college up on me.

But teaching?

Yeah, I’m a teacher. I want to share what goes on in my classroom, and my head, with others.

Isn’t it going to be easy for your students to find you?

Probably not since I won’t ever give my last name, my school’s name or even the district I work for, but it’s not like I’m spitting vitriol, posting inappropriate pictures, or worst of all… discussing politics…too much anyway.

Where DO you teach?

HA! You can guess, but I won’t say. I’ll tell you that I’m in Colorado. You go from there.

So you’ll be writing all about your students?

I won’t ever reveal anything personal about anyone but myself here. I might tell an anecdote, or combine students to tell a story, but never anything specific enough to give it away. Kids have privacy rights too.

Anything else?

I like what I do. This is a healthy outlet to make sure I keep liking it.
